The song filtering through the ceiling is Bella Ciao – a still-extremely popular Italian folk song from the late 19th century, which, in the not so incredibly distant future from when this comic takes place, would be adapted as an (also very popular) antifascist anthem! It’s also a little thematically relevant, for our poor hardworking Dean.
